TAMARA RALPH - FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Born to a creative family of fourth generation couturiers, stylists and designers in Sydney, Australia, Ralph discovered her passion for creativity at a young age. She began designing at the age of twelve years old, under the careful guidance of her mother and grandmother. Ralph later went on to study at the prestigious Whitehouse Institute of Design in Sydney.

Ralph’s passion for creating unique iconic pieces saw her quickly establish herself within the luxury fashion industry when she moved to London in 2005, where her designs became recognised by a more international audience and where she founded Ralph & Russo in 2010. Under Ralph’s creative direction, she carved out a strong positioning within the luxury market within only 11 years.

In 2014, Ralph became the first Creative Director from the UK in nearly a century deemed eligible by The Chambre Syndicale De La Haute Couture to show during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week and was one of only 3 female creative directors globally to be invited on the coveted schedule.

Ralph is recognised by key players within the luxury industry for her achievements, securing inclusion in the most respected lists; Fortune Magazine’s ‘40 Under 40’, and The Business of Fashion Top 500. In 2016, Ralph was honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Walpole British Luxury Awards. And in 2019, ‘Excellence in Craftsmanship‘ and the ‘2019 Outstanding Achievement’ at the Luxury Briefing Awards, which serves as a testament to her creative vision. In 2020 she paved the way by digitally presenting the first ever avatar for haute couture, garnering unprecedented coverage to the total of 7 billion impressions.

Ralph launched the brand Tamara Ralph in 2022 and is the Creative Director and Founder.

Tamara Ralph's vision for her brand is to fuse her innate sense of luxury with craftsmanship and quality across key product categories within the luxury sector.
